标题: Official Transcripts 是否需要学位证?

Two sets

of official transcripts (or certified copies) from all universities/colleges previously and currently attended. Transcripts issued in a language other than English must be accompanied by certified English translations. To be considered official, transcripts and degree certificates must be received in envelopes which have been sealed and endorsed by the issuing institution.

要给毕业学校发信请学校开Office Transcripts,仔细研究申请学校要求,感觉还需学位证, 大家寄出的Official Transcripts 是否都包括学位证呀? 请多指教了?

Most schools only require transcipts, which do not include your degree certificate.

Some schools also ask for degree certificate. You can send seperately.

In the States, degree received is listed on the official transcript so the universities won't ask a seperate degree certificate from your (American) school. However, it might not be the case in China, at least for most of the schools I know. It is better, I guess, to have your school to give you a copy of the degree certificate (XUE WEI ZHENG, and/or BI YE ZHENG, so to speak). Most of schools would accept your profiles and inform you what is missing. Nevertheless, it won't hurt anything, except some extra money. It is fairly frustrating when you are asked to resubmit some additional materials.

So...

Thank you very much. That's helpful and I do agree with you "it won't hurt anything, except some extra money"
