标题: 长江的投资银行实习计划
Given the fast growth in financial sector in China, CKGSB will be making a big push in this area. Starting from December 2006, China Financial Research Center will sponsor 2-3 interns in major Wall Street firms such as Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch for three months or so. We would like to have candidates with strong quantitative background, solid training in financial investment and excellent communication skills in English. The interns will be stationed in Japan, Hong Kong or the United States. If you are interested, please send your cv to hncao@ckgsb.edu.cn. CKGSB alumni and current CKGSB students can apply.

It should be noted that for students holding Chinese passports it may not be so easy to get visa from the US and Japan but may not be a big issue in Hong Kong. It could be easier for students who are exchanging in the US to get a visa or practical traning. These issues need to be worked out later.

所以从实际操作的角度看，长江MBA同学可能还是在国际投行驻香港的亚太区总部实习可行性最大。

终于亲眼看到了长江教授对学校,对学生的CONTRIBUTION,这点应该就充分体现了长江的氛围(至少在曹教授身上).而且,也很欣喜地看到,长江在自己的细分市场上,迈出了坚实的一步.

Report on the progress of the intern plan:

1. I have contacted lehman brothers, merril lynch, UBS, Morgan Stanley, two private money management funds and two private equity funds in China. The contacts are made at the level of owner, partner, managing director level.

2. Wall street firms prefer people who are already in the US. They are interested in one of our students but the interview will be postponed to next Summer.

3. One of the private money management firm is likely to take one person but it is not final yet.

4. The private equity firms in China are interested in our students. They will contact you directly.

Overall, it is still quite tough but we probably can get about three people in.

One comment I got is that they want people who have strong quantitative background. This may be biased as my contacts are former academics. We will do better next year

今年06学生金融背景比较强,CFA较多,CFA3级的就2/3个,曹教授的计划对长江毕业生在金融行业的发展会大有帮助.

香港的国际投行暑期实习生95%都是北美商学院招来的，清华北大的本科也会招几个，亚洲地区的MBA们基本没啥机会（有关系的除外）。

长江商学院MBA2008级学生开启职业新旅程日期：2010-08-18

       8月14日，长江商学院08级学生返回母校北京校区，进行毕业论文答辩。长江商学院副院长滕斌圣教授、MBA主任雷其梠先生出席了午餐会，与学生们轻松交流。滕教授代表长江商学院欢迎校友们返回母校，祝愿08级同学们在新开启的职业旅程上不断取得成绩。雷其梠主任则分享了自身在跨国公司职业发展的成功经历，希望能够给同学们以新的启示和借鉴。
       08级MBA共61名学生，包括55名中国大陆学生以及来自韩国、印度、澳大利亚、台湾以及马来西亚的6名海外学生。目前，通过一年在长江MBA的学习，91.8%的学生已经签订了工作合同，平均年薪为26万。
       MBA教育常常被誉为职业发展的转换器和加速器。新发布的《长江商学院MBA2008级就业报告》数据显示，长江08级学生中79.5%转换了行业、61.3%转换了职能，获得职业发展全新的平台。
       三名08级学生成功进入国内顶级投资银行——中国国际金融有限公司（CICC），成为本届就业的一个新亮点。加入中金公司高端私人业务部的08级学生何旻表示：“通过长江MBA的学习，我着重加强了金融、管理方面的知识，并与实践结合。同时，长江提供了一个拓展人脉、认识行业人士的高端平台，我个人的自信心也在一年的学习中得到了锻炼和加强。”
       另一亮点是进入风险投资和私募股权投资领域的学生比例有所增加，达到30.2%。雇主名单上不乏中信金石、晨兴创投、启明创投、IDG资本等知名基金。经过层层严格面试，打败众多海外商学院毕业生，08级学生张建斌成为了IDG资本医药行业高级投资经理。回顾MBA的学习经历，张建斌坦言，MBA学习最大的收获是思维方式的改变。“知识的东西可以自学，但系统的思维方式却不容易学到。长江教授拥有北美一流商学院的执教经验，同时深入研究中国，他们教会了我看待中国商业的全新视角。多元化的长江MBA同学来自不同行业、不同文化背景，与他们讨论案例、共同完成项目的过程，让我学到别人的思维方式，开放头脑。”十年的医药行业经验的积累加上长江MBA一年学习，张建斌由此打造了自身独特的竞争优势。
