看了前面的讨论，说A,B中its错。知道了in addition to的用法，我知道这里its只能指代the brewed leaves of Camellia sinensis 。我的问题是分号后面的句子中的代词可不可以指代前一句中的词，在这题中就是：如果不考虑in addition to，ITS可不可以指代前句中的TEA？

跟in addition to没有关系。这里的分号割裂的是2句独立的句子，its无法指代另一句句子中的对象。
