这道题说的是今天的Y染色体是以前一个祖宗的染色体的后代，而那个祖宗生存的年代是about 140,000 years ago. A跟B说的都是以前祖宗的染色体lived about 140,000 years ago，C说的是Y染色体是以前的祖宗，所以这三个都不对。E的whom it was啰唆，且it不知道指谁。相对之下D就非常清楚了

这题考的是对比吧，染色体不能和祖先比。而d又显得啰嗦

Y chromosomes 不能和ancestor’s比，语义不清，AB排除

CE很wordy，语法错误，thought had lived，即不是从句也不是不定式，时态也不对，过去完成时表示的是在什么时间之前呢？CE排除

D 最顺了，is thought to be 是顺的，因为前面是the Y chromosome不得不用被动
