所有的答案和 as early as the eighteenth century之间是不是该有个介词如 in? or after 18th century 加 ago?

as early as the eighteen centry 有点突兀放在那里，没有什么链接词吗？

我也觉得，特别是正确答案was a well-established method of mineral extraction之后直接接as early as the eighteenth century读起来很不通

E的意思是過去leaching曾經是a method of mineral extraction, 可是現在不是. 明顯的不make sense

establish是vt, 后面一定要有宾语.所以在这里没有was的话,要么就是过分,要么就缺少宾语并造成逻辑错误.
