from which 指后边的India alphabets,是从句的主语
derive是谓语
正常语序应该是：both northern and southern India alphabets derive from the Aramaic script...

原谅我对介词+which这类定语从句有点弱。

那C是不是该改写成

..., from which both the northern and the southern India alphabets derive.

这里是倒装吗？为什么要在这用倒装呢？

赞成！倒装有时真容易糊涂，我刚开始就选了D，这个倒转应该是结构的需要吧
