C选项里 do......,do not.....,but do....可以理解为平行对称吗?

it seems awkward to use "do,do not do ,but do"

"not...but" used here is not that clear to make the sentence meaning.

furthermore,"but leave with only a basketball"distorted the meaning since "only" should be placed at the end of the phrase.

那么but的作用可以象是and一样用来并列2个对称的结构吗..??
