为什么是A呢？是因为NO引起的倒装吗？

对阿是倒装阿  把句子还原一下 就相当于historical sighting 与  its return  做对照 同类事物  没有问题
且时间用in 1910-1911比较还一些
好多人选c    我觉得不对

首先，如果用动词形式，那么as后面应该是as it did in 1910-1911, 这里it指Halley’s comet才能构成平行，A，B里面的its return显然不平行。

其次，按照省略原则， as it did in 1910-1911一般写成as in 1910-1911因为前面有介词in，所以不担心造成歧义。这点可以参考OG拿破仑军队的那一道，题号忘记了。

最后，既然我们定下了as in的结构，显然C最好. in its return of 1910-1911很好的表达了谁，什么时候的信息。

所以，我选C。

觉得选c。

a中的in 1910-1911这个介词短语是修饰谁的呢？有歧义的，可以修饰return，也可以修饰did

c中的1911-1911很明确，就是修饰return的。

注意区别：as + 句子(主语+谓语)，但such as 只能加名词或名词短语或doing，
         不能加代词

1）比较结构和倒装结构综合的考点：

换成正常语序如前一楼的MM所说：

Halley’s comet cause such a worldwide sensation in no other historical sighting as  its return cause(=did) (such a worldwide sensation ) in 1910-1911.

D的did是正常语序，补错位置。应该和前面一致使用倒装语序。B的had补出助动词，错。

Sensation caused by Obama in all the previous elections is compared with sensation caused by Obama in presidential race.)

不对吧 首先你那个举例不太对 你的举例中2个都是election当然可以这么比

但原文中按c选项 一个是 in histocial sighting 后面是in its return of ..  明显范畴就不一样 一个是历史性的目击 一个是回归？ 这个叫平行？ 当然不是。。。

这道题应该是a阿 不是哈雷彗星在他的返回中轰动世界  是哈雷彗星的返回轰动世界

个人倾向于C，虽然全句的逻辑应该是HC的return引起人们的注意（向楼上说的），但注意上下文：句子前面有一个other，说明后面应该是与之形式的另一种sighting（in his return）
