(B) baggage being so light

(D) baggage, and so light（E）

(E) baggage yet was so light

答案是E ，我想问的是was的主语是和which 一样是canoe 吗？如果是怎么中间没有逗号就直接接在which后面？这是什么奇怪的结构？yet在这里起的是什么作用？

谢谢楼上, 不过即使做连词, WAS 到底是谁的谓语啊 ? 对整个句子的结构和意思我还不是很理解, 能不能讲清楚点, 千万别嫌我烦哦, 嘿嘿
