Of 一大串....., 是形容詞子句形容後面的主語, 可以想成nearly 99 percent of the five .....have.....

由於形容詞子句太長放在主語後面會造成主語跟謂語距離太遠, 所以og喜歡把形容詞子句放到句首, 讓主語跟謂語靠近. 在og的比較句也是一樣的手法, 把like/unlike置句首,主語拉到後面跟謂語靠近.

这是一个倒装句，nearly 99 percentOf the five hundred million different species of living creatures that have appeared on Earth, nearly 99 percent have vanished.

由于 living creatures 的修饰语太长，所以前移。

why perfect tense in the relatiive clause?

这个问题貌似以前也看到过， have appeared on Earth, nearly 99 percent have vanished.这个两个时态一样怎么解释呢，应该是先appear 然后再vanish吧。上次看到也么有一个肯定的答案。请NN给个确定答案萨
