答案(E) 没有问题，

但是我的问题是这里的 as an so massive that neither light nor matter can escape its  gravitational pull.    对吗？？

as an object so massive that...是对的。

同类的结构还有：as so massive an object that...

                as such a massive object that...

结构出自张道真语法。

是不是大权的划线部分不对。。

The black hole has entered the popular imagination as an object  too massive that neither light nor matter can escape its gravitational pull.

不应该包括  object

对啊，你看下面5个选项就知道了，object划线只在题干出现过，后面都没有出现了。

B为什么不对呢 因为too...to结构不如so...that结构?

either  or用法不对。

too  to 结构表否定，需要用neither nor
