我是用be 動詞的平衡來解題

(A) All Y chromosomes 不等於 a single ancestor’s

(B) (C) 同上

只剩下D E

(E) whom it was thought had lived

不如(D) consice, 至於whom...我只是覺得很奇怪而已,不過我不會解釋

for example: He is thought that he is a great teacher

-------------> He is thought to have been a great teacher

应该修饰ancestor才对阿：）

问一下D 中who 能改成whom 吗?

肯定不能改成whom, whom应该在从句中做宾语，但是定语从句中缺少的成分是主语，必须用who

对于现在完成时的解释,在这句话里从两个角度去讲可能会比较清楚

1.现在完成时表示"过去发生的事情对现在造成的影响",原句的意思就是说,染色体从祖先那里传下来这件事情对现在是有影响的,所以用现完

2.原句的时态用的是现在时,主句里面谓语动词是are,所以从句里的时态应该与主句一致,也用现在时态

不知道说得对不对,望大虾们指正~

我怎么觉着about 14000 years ago是一个过去的时间点，祖先是在这个过去时间点之前就存在了，如果这样我认为应该使用过去完成时啊！
