C. BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.

D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.

E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient.

Answer: E

为什么不是C呢？如果-3和4再立面的话，又是10各连续的整数，为什么5不能被算出在里面呢？

如果是（-5，4）的话，也是10个连续整数，包含了-3和4。没有5
