答案竟然给的是E，E里面的erosion, prehistoric glacier movement, and ancient, gold-bearing riverbeds 根本就是不平行的呀，而且有thust和put两个动词莫名其妙的同时存在。各位看选什么？我觉得D比较好。

我也想了半天，只能是E.

既然是两个句子，好像since引导的原因状语从句无谓语。that是修饰volcanic activity 的定语从句。

since erosion, prehistoric glacier movement, and ancient, gold-bearing riverbeds thrust to the surface by volcanic activity put gold literally within reach of
选E较好。
1.erosion, prehistoric glacier movement, and ancient, gold-bearing riverbeds 是并列主语，
2.不用volcanic activity
                                            that是帕引起歧义，that之前有三个名词，究竟修饰哪个？thrust表明只修饰riverbeds
3.如果知道within reach of在附近(距离不远),立刻排除D。

选项D since引导原因从句应该包含完整主谓结构吧而且D中的and volcanic activity that的that改为which比较好,因为在此不表示限定的意思,只是提供而外信息而已吧

选项E 三个并列的核心词为 erosion, movement和 thrust 都是动作性名词,是可以并列的吧
