为什么是B

A， it 指代不清，且 thereby boasting 也不合理

C， although 后要跟完整的句子

D， being 大多数错，

B 最好

it明显是优先指代从句的主语，如果没有it的话，从句和主语在逻辑上一点关系都没有。

thereby boasting 也是最合理的分词短语表句子引起的结果。

A最好。

B里面的because of的用法是错误的。

我觉得A错在 effeciency(it) 不能increase supply 或是 lower price,只能说它导致了上升的供给及下降的价格

which没有问题的啊就近指 lowing price,而且逻辑上很合理，是价格导致消费，而不是供给

就是说供给与消费上升不是直接关系而是由于价格的作用

所以从逻辑角度还是选B,虽然B看起来不太习惯。。。。

请NN指点。。。。

我没读懂B的结构，黄色标出的部分啥成分？ may reduce是谓语么？那主语是谁？

which指代谁？

正常情况下我是一定不会选B这种句子的。如果答案是B，那错这道题我也认了...

B wrong because "increasing supply and lowering prices" pops up suddently. While A indicates improved efficiency causes "increasing supply and lowering prices". Moreover, by doing is a prefered structure of ETS.

本来也选了A的，但把B带入原句后觉得更好。

在从句Although improved efficiency in converting harvested trees into wood products may reduce harvest rates中，improved efficiency in converting harvested trees into wood products 为主语，may reduce 为谓语，harvest rates为宾语。

之所以B比A好，是出于以下两点：

1) 用demand代替it做主句主语比较好，（虽然作为一个中国人我觉得没有指代不清的问题啦，但是ets好像不太喜欢用代词，所以如果有名词还是用名词的好）

2）boost consumption只是因为lowering prices，与increasing supply无关，所以用which比用doing好，前者修饰紧接在前面的词，而后者修饰前面整个句子。

二、分析
b和e选项刻意的改被动，既累赘又失去了stimulate的动作发出者efficiency，

同时because of doing错，

另外which没有指代对象，这里用doing在句末是一个结果状语，不能用which代替
c 的which是一样的问题
d 选项n +being +done错，罗嗦
因此答案就是a

"efficiency"能做"boost consumption"的主语吗？不能，contemption只能由价格原因直接导致，因此A错；被动语态和增加because of的因果关系虽然不算太好，但没有错，故选B
