标题: 语法题，谢谢
新东方的笔记上讲表示“人体”和“普通人”前加the，eg. the human boday ;the common person; the average person.
2002年5月25题

B是肯定错了的。但是D也不合格吧？还是新东方的笔记不绝对呢？？

14题。

b.not necessarily
c. was not necessarily
d. nor necessarily being
the key：B没有问题。可是我有个疑问：not necessarily the significant.
the +adj相当于n,那么not necessarily the significant.就是adv修饰n.好像有点将不通阿！！如果是not necessarily significant就好了。

linlin, 也不能说新东方是错的，
我的理解是单数名词不可单独存在，也就是必须限定，但没说有复数名词啊
the human body ;the common person; the average person.都是单数名词，所以加the限定，
但 ordinary people 是集体复数名词，当然可以不加限定的，所以正确
我觉得是那个笔记没记在要点上。

此句是省略形式，完整句应该是：
By focusing on the interesting, which is not necessarily the significant, the penny press nespapers.....

necessarily 修饰被省略的谓语动词。

necessarily 修饰被省略的谓语动词。

which 可以省略,IS也可以一起省掉吗?
我对这个省略不是太明白
能不能讲讲啊

省略的原则是：要省则全省，不省则全不省。比如不省是：which is not necessarily.., 全省就变成not necessarily..., 但是如果是省成：is not necessarily sth就大错了。
