A Those does not agree with vocal tract; relative clause is wordy and unnecessary．

B Correct．In this concise sentence，the singular an ape's(vocal tract understood)agrees with a vocal tract．

请教NN们，对于定语从句修饰和分词结构修饰，有什么区别吗？ETS有什么偏好吗？好像有很多地方出现选择，但没有明确说哪个优于哪个，怎么判断呢？还是说两个都可以，看其他的考点？

定语从句修饰和分词结构修饰要根据具体句子具体分析，这个句子主要就是those没有可以指代的对象。根据我的经验，Gmac一般不会直接给你定语从句修饰和分词结构修饰两种情况让你选择，一般总有一个其他错误的。不过这里用了that从句就变成限定的了，使这个句子意思很奇怪。

也就是说这两种修饰本身不能作为判断对错的依据咯?

that从句修饰的确是限定性的，那分词修饰呢？等同于非限定性吗？

分词修饰有一个作用是说这是a continuous action
我常看到OG中用动作已经完成，即非continuous来否定分词修饰
