标题: 一个ESSAY的理解.
这是Ivey的essay

If you had an extra day in the week (8 day week) what would you do with that extra day?

这个问题是否可以理解为业余爱好或者活动? 但是问得很奇怪. 因为这些事情Weekend都可以做的. 为什么需要第8天? 正在考虑中...大家请提提看法.

和weekend没有什么关系，我认为其实就是如果你有更多的时间，你会把时间用于什么地方。

我能不能只写做一件事情？（而且和工作无关的，比如和家人在一起啊，或者去做一件自己爱好的事情啊）。。我觉得这一天不太适合写工作。

谢谢sfish..你所说的这些我考虑过。。这个问题是否想看看 what the applicants care most?
但是其实这些都是可以在WEEKEND做的。。如果你放到一个extra day去做，是否意味着你平时周末都没有 improve yourself, stay with family or contribute to your community?

But I still can't get the essential of this essay question..I don't know what the admission officer want to learn from this essay...Can this essay be understand as " what the applicant concern most if they have another day, a day the applicant don't have to work "?

No, you don't have to do everything in the extra day. What I mean was to do one to two things. Don't just work in that day. And don't just relax as well.
