这个题的For the farmer who takes care to keep them cool短语和句子没有任何联系，不知道是什么意思。不过用将来时是好些。

不过这里还是应该选E。主语得是复数

这样看来应该，providing后面都是省略了them，而且划线部分作的是for引导的短语的成分，对keep them cool并列，cow是主句的开始。

That might be the original sentence, " Will " and "If " should be together.

这里是省略了重复的keep to

这题说明一个SC在poe时的一个顺序策略：
要充分利用题干未划线部分提供的信息——特别是agreement相关的信息：代词、单复数、时态、主被动
解题思路整理如下：
1、首先看为划线部分：这题的巧板眼就在于为划线部分已经出现了keep them cool，后文出现正式的subject时必须和它保持一致。这样BD就应该首先被排除。
2、再看两个划线部分动词provide和milk和主语cows的关系，明显是被动，答案E。

虽然是老帖了，不过还是抱着一点希望想问：provided 和milked 不能和keep平行吗？都是farmers做主语，我觉着C挺好的啊

楼上的说法，，我觉得应该不能认为provided和keep平行
因为到底什么和什么平行，是要根据逻辑意思来的

如果是provided修饰farmer，则说明是被动关系，farmer被提供

如果用providing， 就是修饰前门整一句话：如何keep it cool，句意明显不对，除去A和B
再看主谓agreement，牛是复数，D选项用了produces，除去D选项
剩下C和E选项，C里面provided and milking中间有个"and",形态不平行，除去
剩下E，读起来不是太顺，但是没有以上那些明显缺陷。
