Thus maintaining a high ratio of police officers to citizens can serve as an effective deterrent to at least certain kinds of property crime.

the conclusion only concerns with the property crime, not with overall crime.

其实，b的原因很简单，题干是找一个可以消弱命题的，命题是警察多了对财产犯罪的减少有好处，只要找到一个可能会

减少财产犯罪但与警察无关的就可以了。

显然，B是因为高人口密度本身就减少了财产犯罪！

问一下A为什么不对啊。对police officers的训练也和抑制犯罪有关啊。比如说一些城市的police officers的训练很到位，所以即便人数少依旧能起到抑制犯罪的效果，同样也表明人数多不一定能产生抑制犯罪的效果，这和原文的结论相悖啊
