答案给的是B 偶觉得那个,WHICH肯定有问题~不是PRICES来BOOST CONSUMPTION的

而BOOST应该做一个伴随结果状语,是demand will be stimulated because of increasing supply and

lowering prices,所产生的影响的结果

楼主的图片倒是挺漂亮,不过这题选A应该是肯定不行的.因为很明显,5个选项中的主句主语分别是由"it"和"demand"构成.如果用"it",那"it"就必须得在逻辑上可以完成此句想要表达的意思.此时和"demand"在逻辑上进行对比,似乎并没有明显的依据说efficiency足已发出主句中的"stimulate"的动作,同时,也更没有依据认为efficiency足已做出increase 和 lower这两个动作(注意:原文的it will do ...by doing ..and doing..).而楼主做为判断依据的"which / doing"之间的区别反而可以找到用"which"的依据,因为之前是A and B的名词平行,所以which boost完全可以用A and B做主语,这里同"DOING"之间的比较并没有什么绝对的逻辑错误.

综上所述,选B没有异议.

对刚才的回复表示抱歉~~~~仔细读了一下,发现本题中所有的动词确实均由efficiency发出.而B中的demand will be stimulated because of .....确实是极度awkward的用法.

可不可以理解成it是指代 efficiency,所以句子变成：

improved efficiency may reduce harvest rates, it will stimulate demand

B选项中的because of后面不能接doing

因为because of 是介词结构的的，要和名词组成介宾短语
