标题: Anybody tried Bank of China
I am a chinese who have left my job last year and have been studying in France for one year. I feel discouraged about getting a loan from HSBC given my situation. If I can get a personal gurantor in China, how many chances do I stand? And have anybody tried Bank of China for a loan?Thank you!!

btw, Frencheh banks would be difficult since i cannot find a french resident as cosigner.

Since you have already studied in France for one year, why need you to apply for a loan?

I have also heard that HSBC loan is very difficult for Chinese resident to appy for. : (

But I do know some one who managed to get the BOC loan. : )

Are there any rigorous requirements for the HSBC loan?

Why do you feel discouraged?

I heard that the loan was something like "a mission impossble", but I am still wondering where the difficulty lies...

Hi,

I work in a bank. My understanding is that HSBC will consider your pre-MBA income, your credit history and career development when deciding whether to grant a loan or not.

When you convert your salary in RMB into Euro or Pound, how much can it be? The bank cannot be assured of your repayment ability. I think they use a kind of formula to give credit rating scores to applicants. If your score is below a certain level, you will not be considered.

Hope it clarifies some doubt.
