********************By providing the deposit of past experience in tackling obstacles and expertise summerized over a protracted period of time,history plays an indispensible role in our dealing with present affairs.While the bequest of history, whether it be the experience or knowledge amassed,would not necessarily ensure us to be better off individually or on the whole,history invariably broadens our vision and enlighten us in dealing with current societal puzzles provided that it can be combined efficiently and rightly with present circumstances.
That history has the power of suggesting us with clues to tackle current problems is beyong doubt.Over such a prolonged time,all those present complications seemingly suffocating now has occured repeatedly since nothing in society has ever been detached and thus by assembling all these experiences and specific knowledge together can we come up with ideas to address detailed problems.In the first place,experience that accures in the history can indicate the wrong and the right if this experience can be carefully thought over to fit current situations.By documenting difficulties face by them ,the approaches they adopeted,and the twists encountered in their way cracking the trials and complexity ,our predeccesors have accrued a treasury of lessons and how to shun the loss of these lessons.We can always learn from the past the events identical to the that of present. For instance the documentation of the cause of past outbreak of insurgency such as depotism or unrelenting repression convinced a monarch of how to retain a stable relationship with his subordinates and root harmorny in the mass so as to maintain the nation's stability.If without shining wisdom of experience from history,we will be like blinds busily figuring out ways to settle brand-new problems or estimating the possible development of a rebellion helplessly.Only from experience in the history can we acquire overall understanding of now.The other contribution history makes to us is its bequest of knowledge and expertise on which our current proseperous civilization and sophiscated technologe are based.A technique,however cutting-edge it may be,can be dissembled to a couple of basic science principles and operation expertise.Most of these basic principles were estabilshed by ancient scientists or by scientists of 19th or 20th century such as the old Arabic numbers created thousands of years ago on the Arabian earth,the very basics of algebra.From the starting poing of these knowledge and expertise we step by step establish the system of science and technique.
However, potent though history's influence is to the present,blinded simulation of the past without combination of the past and the present can result nothing but dismay and loss of confidence in the knowledge and experience of history.Because minute alteration from the past in the current situations is evitable,and because things are changing all the time,strict dependance upon past experience from the start to the end merely results in consequence contrary to what was estimated.In this sense,it is a must to think over shades of difference between the current problems and thepast sample from which experience directing us now was drawn,and to make advisable alterations when necessary according to the development of the affairs.In a word,as long as the essence of history can be adopted properly in accordance with ever-changing business,history invariably brings us knacks.
In conclusion,the devolvment of science an technique from one generation to another acts as the foundation of our present civilization. Also,history provides us knowledge and unique experience when we are faced with societal problems while all these knowledge and expericence should be adopeted prudently to meet changes differing from the past event.
