个人看法，有待商榷：

第二题感觉A不对，因为逗号前后不能在没有连接词的情况下出现两个完整的句子

C不对，因为强调重心改变

B不对，因为appeared 改变了原文的时态，而且只有过去存在现在不存在的才能用一般过去式，原文指有1%还是存在的

D不对，因为这些种族应该加the来表示特指

所以选E

说明这些生物现在已经没有了. 那就是百分之百的消失了

I think one thing is the place of almost. It should mean "almost double". But in B, it is "almost expected".

The other thing is B is wordy by using that clause when "to clause" can be used.

这道题应该选择B。看到有些CDer说B的时态不对，认为appeared是指所有的living creatures曾经出现过、现在都没有了。但是，appear是非持续性动词，appeared只代表曾经出现，表明出现的动作发生在过去，并无表明现在不存在的意思；同时，E选项在时态上的错误更明显了，因为所有living creatures肯定是先出现、之后才慢慢have vanished，这个两个动作不可能在同一个时间上发生，所以一定不会相同时态。另外，从appear的非持续性来说，其完成时用法也是值得商榷的。

同意chuneyu_lee，have appear 明显是有问题的，暗示持续到现在。要表示已经发生，并且已经结束，也应该用had appeared才对.同意选B

31题 almost 从逻辑意思上来说，修饰expected肯定是说不通的，应该是修饰double才对，所以只能在CD中选择，从修饰词最好紧挨被修饰词的角度来看，C是否更好？to provide作为 it will double的目的状语？
