On a map Town G is 10 centimeters due east of Town H and 8 centimeters due south of Town J. Which of the following is closest to the straight-line distance, in centimeters, between Town H and Town J on the map?

A. 6

B. 13

C. 18

D. 20

E. 24

不太明白题目什么意思啊，请问一下due这个词用来表示方向的时候是怎么个用法？

due east 是正东

due south 正南

actually it's a right triangle with two legs of 10,8,the length of straight line between H and J is /164 to which answer B is closest...

is B the correct answer?

还真的……我以为我理解错了呢，因为164根号开不出来，他也没说approximately，害我以为是我自己算错了,大哭……
