Current Resume: Please prepare a business resume that includes your educational and professional information. Professional information should consist of employment history in reverse chronological order, with titles, dates, relevant information and indication of part-time or full-time status. back to top
Essays: The Admissions Committee requires three personal essays. Essays should be typed on separate sheets and numbered. Essay #4 is optional and you may use it to present any additional information you would like the Committee to consider. MBA/MSF applicants should complete the three MBA required essays and MSF essay #1. back to top
Recommendation: The Admissions Committee requires written evaluations from individuals who can provide an objective and frank appraisal of your capacity for intensive graduate study and your potential for professional success. If applying electronically, you are strongly encouraged to use online submission of recommendation forms by your recommenders. If your recommender is unable to complete the online form, a paper recommendation will be accepted. If using a paper recommendation, recommenders are instructed to return the completed form, sealed in an envelope, and signed by the recommender to you for forwarding. You are required to submit references in one package along with any outstanding supplemental materials. We do not accept faxed recommendations. back to top
Transcript: Transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate academic institutions attended are required. International students must submit an official English translation of academic credentials for evaluation.
If applying online, transcripts from each college or university attended must be submitted using the online transcript reporting tool. If admitted, you will be required to submit an official paper transcript from each college or university you attended. Boston College reserves the right to withdraw any offer of admission already made if there is any discrepancy between the self-reported transcript and the official transcript.
If applying by paper, you must provide an official transcript in a sealed and signed envelope from each institution you attended. Sealed and signed transcript envelopes should be returned with your application. Official documents must bear the actual signature of the registrar and the official seal or stamp of the institution. Degrees must be verified by certified copies of diplomas, dated entries on transcripts or statements signed by the registrar. back to top
GMAT: MBA and MSF applicants are required to take the GMAT. PhD applicants may submit either a GMAT or GRE score report. Only GMAT scores from January 1999 through April 2004 (June 2004 for evening MBA or MSF applicants) are valid. The GMAT school code for the Carroll School of Management varies by program. (Please see GMAT REGISTRATION) Your application will not be reviewed if an invalid test score is submitted.

Notification: It is the responsibility of each applicant to ensure the application submitted is complete for review by the Admissions Committee. Applications are not reviewed until all required materials are received by the MBA Admissions office. Please do not send supplementary materials prior to submitting your application. Applications are considered complete only after all supporting documents have been received.
