Q29:

since后面可以直接跟名词吗?

since表示because的时候是连词. 连词要连句子, 不能只连名词短语.

那么这题为什么选E捏?

because of后面接名词，而原题是－－－put----是句子，是解释第一个分句的，所以用since,D中的putting是ing形式，表示动作反复出现，不符合原题意思，排出，然后选E

不知道这样做对不对？个人觉得E相对好，但是其中的and前后不是很对称，算成efficiency的错误

LZ真是认真啊. E since 的后面是主谓宾俱全的句子. 主语为erosion, glacier movement, and riverbeds, 谓语为put, 宾语为gold. thrust是过去分词修饰riverbeds.

since的用法：

1、从。。。以来，可以接名词也可以接从句

2、因为。只能接从句
