标题: 请教涛涛2-13/29/30题

Q13:

Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi, in the form of carbon dioxide, and converting it to energy-rich sugars.？？？？？

这题我先错选了A,想着BE动词要补上,后来发觉错了,又以为是E,从简洁角度考虑,但是怎么也没想到是C,为何 at accquiring carbon要放在最后啊?难道不怕被误以为是单独修饰 fungi?

of not naming them

on condition that后面是跟虚拟的啊,这题觉得没啥花头啊,怎么会选C那?非常怀疑答案

这题答案是Ｅ，没想通，我觉得so much as是一个固定说法,选了A, 那位好心人来指点下,快考试了,还是这个不会那个不会

converting it to energy-rich 是选c 的原因

A的话converting it to energy-rich 无法解释

C是两个ing的并列，acqiring和converting

我也选A了，但是我觉的这里的named有命名的意思，最好是they换成their names not be used，呵呵

根据虚拟应该是A，C应该是错的

又是一个争议那么大的题目

说一下我自己的一点看法

A：不满地方有两个。1.not so much 。。。as，而文中是not。。。so much as。2.that从句修饰problem，应该是that修饰symptom

E：不满的地方也有两个。1.not so much。。。but，和上面的not so much 。。。as有点不同，当然如果非要把much作为副词理解，那也勉强接受。2.maybe太口语化了

因此，这个题我没一个看着顺眼的选项

现在发现很多问题就出在这个插入语上，看着迷惑

插入语还是很常见的，看到这样的逗号格开的，一般第一感觉是插入语或者同谓语，除非说不通，在看看是不是其它的东西

For Q13, C is the only choice looks good to me.

I agree with GongHao's explanation.

In addition to the parallelism of 'ing', I feel that "acquiring carbon in the form of carbon dioxide" is better.

In A,B,E, "acquiring Carbon" is too far away from "in the form of carbon dioxide"

Q30,I chose A too.

I agree with GongHao that both A and E are not perfect.

But to me, it is more acceptable to use "not something as much as " than "not ... but" without parallel nouns.

not so much an illness or a physical condition but symptomatic

I still prefer A.

Q29,

我的语法很菜。多靠语感而不是语法。

所以，我不知道condition that 要接虚拟。

我在生活中经常看到"Terms and conditons".大多是用一般时而不是虚拟。E.g

Documents may be copied for personal use only on the condition that copyright and source indications are also copied, no modifications are made and the document is copied entirely.

所以，我觉得 C 挺好。
