第五题：A是有语义重复，可以直接说这个东东就行了，不必再说这个东东是一个什么样的物质，罗嗦。但我觉得A最大的问题可能还是后面的非限定语从句which的指代有歧义，既可以指代substance ，也可以指代 the Madagascar periwinkle，因为它可以跳跃修饰。

C的修饰也有歧义，GMAT通常不喜欢被修饰的中心名词前面有两个修饰词，既可以理解为Madagascar修饰derivative，也可以理解为periwinkle修饰derivative，通常都是N+OF结构或是同位语从句修饰更为明确。

6. B的 it 有问题， it 在GMAT中只作形式主语。C和D改变了句子的主干和从属部分，C中the same crops as large farms to the small farmer用法也不对。E就是个乱的，尤其是主语部分。最后一个分句的主语不能用they，前面复数名词太多，绝对有歧义，B、D、E错。

7. 主语 pattern是单数，A和B肯定是错的。我一开始觉得D和E不好区分，觉得应该是E的虚拟语气，后来查了一下，名词性的descendant应该接 of 。形容词性的descent后面是from 。所在D对，我想这可能就是CORRECTIVE和EFFECTIVE错误的区别吧。
