这道题正确答案是a，但是我觉得如果C答案的倒装没有问题（我觉得没有问题），好像还是SO..AS TO 比较简洁。而且本题中AS TO 后面的成分的逻辑主语和主句的主语一致。
请教为什么。

区别就是so as to只用于简单的系表结构中，句子主语和to do 的主语相同，且不能倒装。
而so that就把它要广泛地多，从句和主句中的 主语，时态，结构等均可变换，关键的一点：可以用于而且经常用于倒装结构。

我认为：
1，没见过so as to倒装（到底能不能有待检验）。
2，主要问题在于so as to的逻辑主语是谁不清楚。
千万注意：没有语法规则保证它的逻辑主语就是主句主语。所以，虽然从逻辑上说很容易想到它的主语就是主句主语，而且这样理解起来也非常自然，但在语法上是无法保证的，所以可能造成理解上的混乱。

这一点与下面的这个题目极为相似：

注意ETS在解释A不对时说的话：

19楼gg的例子我发现一个共同点：GOOD ONES的例子so as to所在的句子在so as to前只出现一个可能的逻辑主语，与Gemj所举的例子出现两个可能的逻辑主语不一样。
关于so as to必定不对，so adj. as to可能对，我个人认为不应该作为公理。还是根据so as (adj.) to、so (adj.) that和such (adj.) that三者之间的区别作为判断依据。
就这一题来说，个人比较倾向于so as to后只能加动词原型，导致无法表达题目原义的时态的错误。

so that所有情况下都可以用,除非有更简洁的表达;
so as to只能用在一下三个前提同时成立的情况下:
1)前面只有一个名词可以理解成主语;
2)后面跟的时态是一般现在时;
3)前后动作的主体一致.

总结下大家看看这样理解对不对~
so that所有情况下都可以用,除非有更简洁的表达;
so as to只能用在一下三个前提同时成立的情况下:
1)前面只有一个名词可以理解成主语;
2)后面跟的时态是一般现在时;
3)前后动作的主体一致.
我觉得还可以补充一个第四点：4）so as to 不能用被动时态，注意不是so...as to-- by 会员 抓抓sandra (2011/7/9 11:48:31)
