但原文中的BUT,应该表明了BUT后面的句子与前面的一起组成了that1的内容, 不存在that2.
第二道:
我觉得:问题应该处在BUT和THEN上.
1) BUT:使得后面的分词与前面的出现了有可能的并列, 因为分词可用BE连接,并做表语.
2) THEN:使得前后应该为同等的情况,表示前一个发生,然后后 一个发生的时间上的关系.改变了原文中分词短语的作用(1.做条件状语 或 2.主语的定语)
