(A) does not read like an apprentice work
(B) seems not to read as an apprentice work
(C) does not seem to read as an apprentice work would
(D) does not read like an apprentice work does
(E) reads unlike an apprentice work

Why is the answer A, not B?

1) b is wordy
2) read as is wrong.

i guess E is not idiomatic. I do not think that we can say:
she looks unlike a nice person. instead, we say
she doesn't look like a nice person. right?

unlike是指作品不像an apprentice work

not read like 是指作品讀起來不像an apprentice work

所以以意義上來分應該要讀才會知道是不是an apprentice work

这里是不是是介词,引导介词短语,如同学徒的作品?

因为做副词是可能的意思,所以不可能作为副词修饰read,逻辑意思不同?

like只用于比较的说法太教条了吧，

这里句意就是"读起来不像...",第一次遇到read可以这样用，挺有意思

read like 读起来像，跟look like 看起来像一种表达

记住 do unlike是错误表达法
