would appear and make - 比较好. would appear to make - 不通.

今天再看倒是觉得e好

因为师bag inflate这件事make people think...

而不是bag make

UP！E中inflated to make会让人产生岐义认为是安全气囊的膨胀使得人们think，安全气囊的膨胀使得人们already terrified,然后烟雾的出现再使得人们think车子着火

i chose the last choice

A. inflated, and making.

(如果用and made，会产生阅读歧义，是air bag还是smoke 让乘客产生。。。。。)

D. Inflated and make
（make时态不对）

make和appear并列 would appear...and make....

应该选D。因为这里让顾客收惊吓的不应该是inflate，（虽然说老实话，撞车时安全气囊突然嘣一声暴开也挺让人害怕的），但是这里说得是会人人们误以为车on fire 而感到terrified。那么这里的让顾客惊讶的是inflate的时候冒出的烟，而不是inflate本身。
