when在gmat里一般只用于表达当。。。时候。条件句中用if。

when在gmat中好象不宜多用

remain后面可以跟in this way吗？我好像以前看到过有讨论的，但是现在找不到了．如果可以，remain in this way 和remain this way有什么差别吗？

我在D、E之间犹豫，忧郁。

longman里面，thus是米有代词这个解释和相关例句的。。

但是D中的ALTHOUGH。。。好象没有转折的意思。

I just asked 2 American colleagues. Both of them think "E" is correct... Does anyone here know why the answer is D?

在牛津里找到了个thus例句:
thus

(In spoken English it is more usual to use so . )

所以我支持选E, D里面的although语气不爽

when引导时间状语从句，可是这里怎么看也应该是条件状从，这里是不是用错了那？还有，D到底错在哪里了？费解
