E is the correct answer.

The explanation of og is that D does not make clear whether 50,000 to 100,000 represents all or fraction of the genes in cell.

After i read it several time, i still can't figure out what is the different between those two answers.

why add " the 50,000 to 100,000" can make this sentece more clear ?

can somebody tell me why or how should i read this sentence?
