这题看上去象是要考not only... but also,但我看实际上不该用not only ... but also, 因为逻辑意思上讲不同. 前半部分说系统性的砍伐树木为人民带来的大量的可耕种农田地和便宜的家具和房屋造价,后面说那样却导致了水土流失和地区性的快速沙漠化...只用but also来转折好象比较好.所以我选D,而给出的答案是A. 各位怎么看.

请大家点评。

Oh my God! You gotta be kidding me that A is the right one. Obviously out of the two effects systematic clearing create, one is positive and the other is negative. Not only ...but also shouldn't even fit in...I would pick one between D and E. But who knows maybe there is some catch here that's against common sense. I'll try to do some research on this...still in shock ... ~_~

问一下but also中间可以加成份吗，怎么感觉A读起来很别扭，所以我选B了。

又细想了一下，语法中好像有种错误是改变原文结构，比如把并列改成主从，原文A两个动作create and gave 是并列，而在B中gave成了修饰的成份了，这么理解对不对呢？

gonghao说的在理,可是我老觉得A中的it指代有问题,前面出现过这么多个单数名词,用it就比较麻烦了

从意思上看也未必不可,即

I choose B at first, but right now, I agree A.
