句子主干：troubles are a result of A,B, and C that attempts have failed to correct.

that修饰troubles，当然，离得很远很不好，但是correct及物动词后面得有动作对象呀，也就是that所指代的troubles罗。

一家之言仅供参考。不过我觉得这种题目楼主也别太在意了，每个选项都千疮百孔的，没什么做头。

我选的E

没把that理解为定语从句修饰troubles

觉得是that 这里做连词用,有点以至于的意思

然后后面的attempt at和attempt to都是正确的结构

最主要我觉得correct后面的them一定是要补出的

D的them没补出来,我觉得意思不对!

请大家指教!

that 必须前面有so啊such啊才能表达“以至于”的意思，单独的that没这个意思。

correct后面之所以没有补出them是因为that在从句里充当correct的宾语，再来个them就重复了。

看看这个句子是不是容易理解了：
He is the man whom/that I saw yesterday.
他就是我昨天见的那个人。（whom/that在从句中作宾语）

这里你不会再要加him吧？

这句好理解,不会再加him了

那句刚开始理解的时候,就觉得句子的意思好象是这个trouble太复杂了,以至于不能correct,没想到that定从

其实这句句子,把that移到as a result of 前面就好理解了

当中的修饰成分太长,造成误解!

不对啊!

我现在读这个句子,还是觉得它要表达的不是定语从句的意思;它是要表示一个结果啊;that可以作连词引导一个句子的吧

这句句子that定从离开这么远，也算是空前绝后了。只能说是相对较好的答案吧，看着也很不爽就是了。

that引导句子当然可以啦，但它得有修饰对象啊。你觉得它不修饰troubles，修饰blunders?这就是离得太远造成的歧义啊，我也说这个答案不妙嘛。

不是,我是觉得that表结果,

前面说as a result of+三个原因,说明这个trouble的复杂;that引导从句,说明一个结果,不能correct这个trouble

that理解定从的话强调的是as a result of

而后者强调的是结果

不知道我理解得对不对

我在金山词霸上看到一条：
that
conj.（连接词）
Used to introduce a subordinate clause stating a result, wish, purpose, reason, or cause:
用以导出从属子句：引导表述结果、愿望、目的、原因或理由的从句：

他很悲伤她小看他

这个例句的that是表原因。没看到表结果的例句，但词霸说有。如果that表结果的话，correct后面要补出them，也就是选E。不过，我还是倾向于D。

选Ｄ的话，that引导定语从句，会不会离得太远，而且意思也不尽如意呢！

我觉得原文表达的是一个因果关系，这从A也可以看出来，翻成中文如下：

计算机公司目前的问题是技术停滞，营销错误和管理缺陷综合作用的结果，因此几次试图改变公司策略的努力都失败了。

D是定语从句修饰troubles，没有表达出因果关系，我觉得是不是可以和楼上MM说的那样，把that理解为连词表示结果呢？其实这题要是改成so that就不会有这么多争议了。

不论从句意上还是距离上看，that 修饰的blunders吧，所以correct的宾语是blunders 不用补出them
