根据LZM的说法：“当用某一物体的持续性动作对该物体进行限定性修饰时，应采用－ING形式，相当于表明此动作是该物体的一个永久属性。....如：the planet orbiting the Mar则表明只要the planet存在，orbiting的动作就一定存在，而THAT从句中的时态无法表示此含义。”P107 我同意他的这个说法，本题与他举的例子极其类似。THAT从句中的现在时无法表达这种永相伴随的特征。
