答案C.没有问题.  提亮部分结构不是很明白. 是effects of ...和warming of...两个名词短语并列吗? 这样的话,warming和of 间干嘛加个逗号?

答案C.没有问题.  提亮部分结构不是很明白. 是effects of ...和warming of...两个名词短语并列吗? 这样的话,warming和of 间干嘛加个逗号? 

my two cents:

     effects of calefaction, or warming, of a river

 =  effects of calefaction of a river or effects of warming of a river.

calefaction:暖，发暖。I think "or warming" may be Tong-Wei-Yu of "calefaction",

两个逗号起到同为的作用
