答案选E，我想问：
1。A错是不是因为equally likely 不能和as搭配
2。E是不是省略了to exceed, 这样不会有歧义吗？好象人是现在的法规。

1.如果以as表比较，as要成双出现，A的比较是不符合结构的。
2.they are没有其他的可指代，怎么会有歧义呢。

第二个as后面一般省略主语，或者主谓一起省略，
但不可能只省略谓语，保留主语和宾语的

be likely to 為形容詞狀態 equally 修飾likely 是奇怪點
但As current one 在此不能當作修飾語修飾前方limit 表如同現存的限制嗎

they隶属于that从句之下，最起码应该优先指代从句的主语，所以不会歧义

郁闷了,这道题在A,E里面挣扎了好久,先是偏向E的,因为as likely ...as比较地道的表达方法,但后面的they are(the current one)这个省的有点夸张了,而且很容易引起歧异,让我实在无法下手选它.于是我又回过去看前面的选项,A里的句型可以理解为be likely to do sth,很对啊,equally是修饰likely的,as表示为就像(as a student), the proposed speed limit as the current one非常完美啊
所以我坚持选A

D错在两个比较对象不对等
并且,likely后面带的是that,介词短语优于从句

这个省略也不是解释不通~
according to白勇语法，并列结构除了谓语动词其他都能省略~
而D明显是省略了谓语吧~

首先我从Manhattangmat论坛找到的
"equally ... as X" should be considered wrong.
if "equally" is used, it should be used in isolation.
the two candidates should be allocated time equally in the debate.
she has lots of experience, but many of the other candidates are equally qualified.
所以A,B,C排除
再看D，E，likely 后加that肯定错，正确用法是be likely to，而且D的比较对象也不对等，原文要比较的是司机超速的事，翻译过来就是司机超出提议的速度的可能性和司机超出当前速度的可能性一样，所以E省略了
drivers will be likely to exceed the proposed speed limit they are（ likely to exceed ）the current one
这个省略确实很诡异，我觉得这题不完整，当时没有抄完整
as likely。。。as。。还在其他题中考到，我贴出来，还有Manhattan论坛的地址，结合着看看就清楚它的用法了

这道题目如果是省略的话
limit as they are（ likely to exceed ）the current one
那我们就不应该排除B
因为as也可以直接进行句子之间的比较不是么？
求解答，呵呵
