我想知道remains在时态上没有问题把？

我想应该没有问题，因为CONCLUDED后面是一个客观现实。
再看下面的例子：
Although she could not posit an unequivocal causal relationship between behavior and environmental change, Brown concluded that a change in tide schedule is one of several possible exogenous influences (those outside the organism) on the oysters’ rhythms.
