标题: GWD29--41

Gas hydrates, chemical compounds of water and natural gas, are increasingly being studied for their potential to be huge reservoirs of energy, possibly causing sea floor instability, and significant contributors to global warming.

  • to be huge reservoirs of energy, possibly causing sea floor instability, and

  • to be huge reservoirs of energy, possibly causing sea floor instability, and even as

  • as huge reservoirs of energy, possibly causing sea floor instability, and

  • as huge reservoirs of energy, and the possible cause of sea floor instability,

  • as huge reservoirs of energy, as possible causes of sea floor instability, and even as

  • 其实我一直都不是特别清楚to be和as用法的区别。不过这道题感觉上应该选择to be, A选项。

    这句话的句型不是很理解,哪位能解释一下吗?

    若A正确,and significant contributor to...是干什么用的啊?

    不好意思,看得不是很懂,请指教,谢谢先!

    1. to be huge reservoirs of energy, possibly causing sea floor instability, and
    2. to be huge reservoirs of energy, possibly causing sea floor instability, and even as
    3. as huge reservoirs of energy, possibly causing sea floor instability, and
    4. as huge reservoirs of energy, and the possible cause of sea floor instability,
    5. as huge reservoirs of energy, as possible causes of sea floor instability, and even as

I agree with you.     significant contributors to global warming  与  huge reservoirs of energy 并列.

    consider 的用法,一般不用as

    1. consider sth. sth.

例: critics of the trend privately operated prisons consider facilities an integral part of criminal justice system, and they question whether profits should be made from incarceration.

    2. consider to be:
