What is your most valued tangible possession? What is your most valued intangible possession?作者: tsljz 时间: 2003-9-25 12:56
我觉得tangible posssion是指可见的东西,比如什么家族的传家之宝啦,或者某次探险找到的一块石头啦,和你的value/belief可以联系的等等,都可以是答案

Tangible: your BF compliment your lovely hair, that's tangible; Intangible: you blink back and kill him softly, that's intangible.作者: boarderlee 时间: 2003-9-25 16:50
Hello Sunny,
I agree with the above definitions. That was last year's essay questions at Haas. This year the questions are different. Be careful if you are applying this year!

Hi Boarderlee,
Thanks for the reminding! I am applying the part time program that asks this old question this year.
So it seems the question is asking what is your value and what is your strength, right? Is there any tip to integrate those two parts together? Should I mention a little bit about why MBA, why me at the end? The answer should be to elicit brief, yet thoughtful, responses (2-3 paragraphs in length). I believe should be around 350 words.
Thanks! 作者: tsljz 时间: 2003-9-26 04:33
I don't think you really need to talk about why MBA here since essay 14 is where why MBA goes. The short questions are designed to know about YOU. So show your characristics and personality here. No matter what the tangible possesion it is, it needs to be tied with your personalities or values.
