除了prevalent的错误.

我想问A是不是少个those? 这个those是不是必须的??? 可不可以理解为:the rates of....are ten times as....as(they are) in ... 省略相同的主语谓语,就不用加those了..

可以吗? 谢谢指点

A不是少those,A是主语不对！请楼主注意，A,B,C的主语是rates,那么就是说the rates are ten to thirteen times more ... than,这个逻辑有问题，rates怎么prevalent?rates怎么in the population? 做语法题目还是要看中心词，这是关键。所以这里不是比较的问题，而是逻辑主语问题

省略是为了简洁，而补出是为了排除歧义。

不会引起歧义的相同成分就要省略。
