答案位E.但是把E带入，是否成为一个run on sentence。...agencies benefit not only from ... but also from ...逗号requests for whom have increased ...。2个完整的句子，没有连接词，中间使用逗号而不是分号连接。

如果是同位于的话, 同位于requests for whom (或 requests) 后应有修饰语或定语从局修饰. 而且, requests是 professionals的同位于? 不通呀.

不管怎样, 能选对就可以了.

改错中正确选项是不可能出现RUN－ON句型的。将正确选项代入是

requests是名词，意思是something asked for，whom是professionals的引导词，引导的是从句，从句的谓语是have increased。requests for whom have increased是多么完美的组合啊！

在这里充当同位结构。这有些类似OG190。而那个REQUEST FOR是补出的修饰名词，类似于....., findings which......，类似于OG138。

感谢各位的讲解。不是抬杠，还是有些不明白。

首先（requests for whom）主语（have increased）谓语 in the recent wave of corporate takeovers.是个句子。句子好像不能成为同位语，如果可以请举一个例子？

其次，request for whom中的whom 也不是定语从句的标志。至少从我目前的知识而言。one of whom 是定语从句，fourteen of which are officially recognized， many of which were chiseled from solid rock...是定语从句也没有问题。但是要说request for whom时定语从句可能还需要一些决定性的证据。

但是如果没有打印错误，分号变成逗号之类的东东，这个句子可能又只能被看作定语从句。

看来这个句子还有在讨论的空间。

比较同意这是一个定语从句，应该是一个比较特殊的定语从句
request for whom, 中心词是request, 和前面的professionals 不应该是同位的关系

况且

                                                               后面是定语从句

这个request for 是同前面的demand for对应的内容。

这道题从not only... but also... 连接的两个部分要对称的角度来讲应该C更好啊!
not only from the increasing demand for clerical workers but also from the requests for highly paid professionals...完全对称啊!

而E 选项:
not only from the increasing demand for clerical workers but also from the higher profits made in placing highly paid professionals 不对称啊!!!

请教NN， C选项错在哪里？还有这个对称问题到底怎么讲？谢谢！

who 和 whose 感觉不平行。the requests 和whose requests.重复，这样意思表达不好。

C最关键的错误是变了原文的含义

我不同意这种说法，第二种说法-"不仅从对clerical workers 增加的需求中受益，而且从对highly paid professionals增加的需求中受益。"也是完全可以的，对clerical workers 和
highly paid professionals的需求增加都使得agency受益，这里我把request看成跟demand并列-都是指需求，agency从社会对这2种人的需求中受益。但这样的话，request就不应该是复数了。

前人估计早已完成学业了，不过我还是不明白这道题，还是要问问。

我也选的是C.感觉C的并列平行结构很完美。

E也能说得通。

有没有大牛现身给个说明？先谢了！

感觉C确实很平行
如果说要根据A的意思，CD都不可以
但是如果说做题的时候根据平行对称排除了E，因为被认为是硬伤了，剩下就是C比较好了呀，。

T18：原文的意思是对professionals的request增加即用人公司需要招聘更多的professionals；而whose
request的表达变成是这些professional的requsts增加（比如说他们对食品对衣服对教育等的request增加了）
再仔细琢磨下？

考古出来的东西，觉得说的很有道理，准备2战中。一起努力。同错一样的题。。。

D我觉得是改变了原来意思，虽然我也选的D。

原文意思是Agency这个东西从clerical的需求增长和高收入职业创造的高利润中受益。D的意思变成从高收入职业中收益。

从逻辑意思上Agency是不会从职业中收益的。所以我觉得D错了
