(B) wings, wings so smooth and so perfectly shaped

为什么用B 不用A 呢？

又是倒装加省略
请问一下，这里如果E去掉“do”，as Halley's comet will是不是也是正确的
另外，关于比较结构中的倒装和省略的用法，有没有前辈总结过阿

第一题，偶当时做的时候也很困惑的，后来问老师，好像记得说是shaped用smoothly修饰不行。

NO 7, SMOOTH and PERFECTLY represent 2 different quaities. smooth is kind of condition while perfect is not. look at the following sentence:
most clothing could be packed flat, ... FLAT here has the same function as smooth, adj

NO 22, i chose D as u only use first one WILL

由于前面有个since,如果后面直接接shaped so....,则整个句子无主句！

wings so smooth and so perfectly shaped that the air passing over them would not become turbulent.红色的部分是整个句子的主语和谓语！！

        请问
        so...that...不是应该要这么用吗？

        The weather is so hot that we can't work.

        so与that的句子中皆要有主语、谓语

        但上句中(wings so smooth....)为什么so, that中都没有谓语呢？
请NN指导！！

7F的,你的解释错了.
1,首先,虽然提干有since,并不代表Since the 1930’s aircraft manufacturers have tried to build airplanes with frictionless ....就是从句.
since这个词可以作为prep的,不一定都做连词.
Since the 1930’s aircraft manufacturers
have
tried to build airplanes with frictionless ....

since 1930's作为时间状语, manufacturers是主语, have tried to谓语.

2, 你所说的
"wings so smooth and so perfectly shaped that the air passing over them would not become turbulent.红色的部分是整个句子的主语和谓语！"

would not become是在that从句里面的动词,根本不可能当主句的谓语.其实你引用的这段话(B),完全是一个名词性同位语,wings是和前面wings重复,同位,后面 so.........that什么的都是修饰第二个wings的.完全和主句的主谓宾不搭界.

6F Snazzy的说法有道理的.但是考场上估计真的没法那么精确的分析出不同来.我觉得AB之间主要区分办法,还是通过A的"过去分词+逗号"放在句尾作定语修饰逗号前面的名词-----这种用法感觉很怪!

我的感觉:

V+ed可以直接接在名词后面作为修饰名词的成分
V+ing可以直接接在名词后面作为修饰名词的成分
名词,v+ing---这种也是可以的,
但是 :名词,V+ed----------->这种形式真的很少见,期待有高手验证
