During the lunch break, I have some correct information to share with you guys applying for phd at TAMU&U of Alabama, since I had a meeting with faculties from both two BS, one of them is my friend.
TAMU: So far, this year, the average GMAT score of all 32 applicants (all international except three) is Total 653, Verbal 31.3, Quantitative 47.87. Similarly the average GRE scores are Total 1279, Verbal 502, and Quantitative 776.
Test scores weigh heavily in our acceptance decision.
UA: the requirement is below that of TAMU, and people with low GMAT(far below 700, at least 600) and no research experience are encouraged to apply, a master degree in business will be considered during the acceptance process.
