标题: Anyone got defer permission from Wharton???

Does anyone have successful defer experience?

I am in such a tricky situation now. I just employed by a Swiss Company, and just arrived here last Monday, and now I got admitted to Wharton Business School.

I am thinking maybe that I can defer MBA for one year and it will be much easier for me to quit by then.

Any good suggestions? For quit AND for defer?

why would you be afraid? I think you are still on probhition, and during that people are more free to leave.

Actually I met the same problem as you, but I heard the chance to get the defer permission is quite small

Pino, have you contacted the school so far? What was the response from the school!

I guess it would not hurt to test the water. Asking the admission office directly what's the school's defer policy would be fine, I guess.

Even if the school would not give you a defer, your admission status will hold if you decide to go.
