答案是E。A好像没有语法错误。E改变了句意。

This is a tough question. It sort of test your logic. Since Soviet audience have seen some coverage, then the sentence should convey that

'although not all ... were carried live, some were, so audiences have seen some'. If you keep the original meaning of the sentence, then how can

'Soviet audiences have seen a great deal of coverage'? This question is kind of stupid.

En, I see your point. But then you would want to say 'Although none of .... were carried live' to be more idiomatic.

逻辑上有点问题这个题。

这个题最关键的地方应该是audience，这说明了如果没有看直播，audience of live conference是不存在的。

所以不能说　all ... not

根据alive 活着，去掉CD

根据部分否定proceeding的表达方式，去掉所有格B

根据部分否定，去掉A

选E

注：有人说all not 和not all都是部分否定

我也有类似的想法，open to discussion，但是我觉的OG只认 not all是部分否定。all not被认为是全部否定
