I have worked for about 10 years in a state-owned company as a mechanical engineer. Now, the competiton is so fierece that my salary is decreasing. As a engineer. I couldnt determine the fate of my company. worried about my future employment, I want to change my career. The only way I could find is to change my career.
I intend to apply for MBA program. As a engineer. will I be discriminated against by Business schools. According to my own experinece, They prefer candidates with marketing or financial backgrounds. Even I enrolled in a MBA program, it will be very difficult for me to find a job in the future.
Could any friend give my any advice? I have passed IELETS and is preparing for GMAT. Without TOFEL, could I apply for US MBA programs. or am I just qualifed for European MBA programs.
urgently waiting for any constructive suggestions. Thanks.
Actually, business school prefer people with engineering background. MBA program originially was designed for people in engineering major.
For U.S b-school, TOEFL is a must if you never studied or worked in English Speaking country. But comparing with GMAT, TOEFL is very easy. One who can get a good score in GMAT will have no problem to get a high socre TOEFL
